  • For many visitors, driving the Highlands’ spectacularly scenic roads is no small part of the pleasure of being here.

    Edinburgh to Inverness is normally a relaxed drive of around three hours, with Glasgow taking a little more and Aberdeen less. Once here, the Highland Golf Links venues are within easy reach of each other.

    Dornoch is about an hour north of Inverness via the Highlands’ main A9 trunk route, while Castle Stuart Golf Links and Nairn lie just east of the city, beside the A96 to Aberdeen

  • There are regular trains from throughout Scotland and the UK travelling to Inverness, including direct day and sleeper services from London, and timetables and fares information can be found on the Scotrail website.

  • Inverness Airport is just a few minutes from  Castle Stuart and about 15 minutes from Nairn.

    Scheduled flights operate between Inverness and London Gatwick, London Luton,
    Amsterdam, Belfast City, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Stornoway in the
    Western Isles, Kirkwall in Orkney and Sumburgh in Shetland, plus seasonal
    flights to Geneva.
