Castle Stuart

A modern Highlands links shaped by coastline and contours. Cabot Highlands (home to Castle Stuart Golf Links) runs along the Moray Firth, with rumpled fairways, exposed lies and horizon-wide views that make wind and angle part of every decision. The art-deco clubhouse frames the finish; wildlife and water are constant companions.

Castle Stuart Golf Links

Hugging the shoreline of the Moray Firth, the rugged and natural landscape is comprised of vast expanses of gorse, broom, heather, and marram. Tightly framed vistas combine the immediacy of natural surrounds with far-stretching views, creating at once a sense of grounding and grandeur. Manicured playing surfaces and natural rugged vegetation come together in a design reminiscent of golf’s transitional period from 1890 to 1935. Designed by Mark Parsinen and Gil Hanse.

Old Petty

Cabot Highlands has expanded its golf offerings with the addition of a Tom Doak-designed 18-hole course, Old Petty, which opened for preview play in August 2025. This new course is built on a pristine piece of land, playing around Castle Stuart’s 400-year-old castle. The course incorporates natural contours, meandering through hillsides and expansive open land with several holes along the water.
